Shropshire Dragonflies

The Shropshire Dragonfly Group study dragonflies, and the smaller damselflies and demoiselle.  These are known as Odonata.

The publication listed below provides reasonably up to date information on Shropshire dragonflies including maps of sightings and key identification features. It is available from the Shropshire Botanical Society (www.bsbi.org.uk/html/shropshire.html):

Who - The name of the person who saw it and if someone else identified it, include their name.

What - The name of the species you have seen

Where - The name, and ideally the grid reference of the place you saw it

When - The date you saw it
