This web page presents the known records of ladybirds in Shropshire.
Only those beetles typically thought of as Ladybirds are listed here. There are other beetles in the same family (Coccinellidae) but these are not always recognised as Ladybirds.
If you find a ladybird you could make a record of where you found it and send the details to Ian Thompson at salopladybirds@f2s.com
Please make sure to include a grid reference of where you found it, the date you found it, your name and of course the type of ladybird.
To help find a grid reference use the 'Get-a-map' facility from the Ordnance Survey (just zoom in on the map and read the grid reference from the grey bar at the bottom left of the window - e.g. SJ554280).
