In some cases species do not have an individual species action plan. There are some plans which cover several species eg, the bats action plan and the farmland birds action plan. In some other cases there are actions for species included in relevant habitat action plans eg, many of the fish species are covered by the rivers and streams action plan. The logos next to these species will take you to the relevent generic or habitat action plans
UK and Shropshire BAP species

Updates to the Shropshire BAP
The Shropshire Biodiversity Action Plan is reveiwed on a rolling program, additions can be made at any time subject to a two week consultation period with the Shropshire Biodiversity Partnership Steering Group. The most up to date version of species action plans can be found on BARS by clicking on the BARS logo.
This list includes all national and Shropshire BAP species. If a species has no link to BARS or a pdf of an action plan it is because Shropshire has no specific action plan for this UK BAP species.
In addition to the vasular plant species listed in the table below Shropshire considers a list of plant habitat indicator species to be Shropshire BAP species. The full list of Shropshire plant habitat indicator species can be found in the botanical records page
