BARS reporting on actions led by organisations within the Shropshire BAP

The charts below show current progress with reporting on BARS for the 15 organisations with the highest number of actions attributed to them.  It should be noted that reporting by partners is not complete and this chart does not indicate the total work completed by partners - just what they have chosen to report.

It should also be noted that in October 2007 the Biodiversity Support Officer took up post and began working with the partnership particularly on facilitating reporting.

Restoration of calcareous grassland

Progress chart for restoration of Lowland Calcareous Grassland using figures from BARS reporting.  This is an example of how we would like to present our target figures for habitat maintenance, restoration and expansion.  Collation of these figures is very difficult but future improvements to the Biodiversity Action Reporting System may help solve some of these difficulties.
