This section of the web site contains pages specific to each parish where further information regarding the biodiversity of that parish can be found.  These web pages are a trial means of helping provide biodiversity information to those parishes who have expressed an interest in actively recording and conserving their local biodiversity

Many parishes have detailed environmental sections of their parish plans and others have embarked on audits of the habitats found within their parish.  For more detail about parish plans contact the Community Council of Shropshire on 01743 360641 or download existing plans from their web site at: www.shropshire-rcc.org.uk

Parish environmental groups can have a direct influence on plans to protect Shropshire's priority species and habitats.

Groups and individuals can undertake survey work in their parish to help inform where the best habitats and species are found in their parish.

Groups and individuals can undertake direct conservation work for specific species or habitats.  This can be as simple as arranging for some areas of public greenspace to be left unmown until August or digging a small pond.
